Purchase Ledger Clerk

5 days in the South London office

Salary £30,000 to £32,000 per annum (increase after completing probation)

 

Our client, a manufacturing business based in South London, are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk for their accounts team. There is the chance for progression into a Head of AP role. The company is also currently going through a system implementation so you will get to be part of that process.

 

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Purchase ledger – entering all supplier invoices and credit notes onto Sage.
  • Processing expenses
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Timesheet input and processing – chasing missing timesheets, update spreadsheets, prepare monthly payment runs.
  • Assisting the team with PO queries and helping with any other areas of finance when required.

 

What the client is looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Good Excel experience and ideally use of Sage
  • Good time management skills
  • Attention to details
  • Previous experience assisting with payroll would be ideal
