In 2001, nestled between the launch of iTunes, Wikipedia, and the Xbox – a recruitment business was born. With only a phone, fax machine, and a potted plant to call our own – Accountancy Action was born.
OUR GOAL WAS SIMPLE – TO DO FINANCE RECRUITMENT, BUT DIFFERENT. WE’D DO IT BETTER.
The thing is, every recruitment business says they’re different, this is as true today as it was 20 years ago. Our Founder, Marc Kirsch, was determined to walk-the-walk.
RECRUITMENT ISN’T HARD, YOU KNOW?
We’ve already lost the recruitment crowd here, but it’s true! There’s a reason the industry is known for burning out rookies. But this cynical approach also invites the many problems we know so well. Underwhelmed clients and candidates, recruiters who don’t understand their job, and an industry in “crisis”. So we said, what if…We built our business simply around meeting our client and candidate needs.
