Due to their continued growth my client is looking to recruit a Part-Time Bookkeeper on a permanent basis.  This is a fully remote role reporting to the Finance Director.

This role requires an experienced Bookkeeper who is able to produce accounts up to Trial Balance

Working in a hands-on environment this role requires a confident self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills who can work effectively with all areas of the business, customers and suppliers.  You will equally enjoy taking ownership of you own duties with an adaptable approach to business requirements.

It is essential that you demonstrate experience of having carried out a similar role in order make a smooth transition into the role.

Key duties will include:

  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Preparing weekly payment runs
  • Posting customer remittances
  • Credit control
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Monthly sales reconciliation
  • Recording journals
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Updating costings
  • Preparing monthly payroll submission to outsourced payroll provider
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Supporting the Finance Director

You will have the following skills:

  • Able to produce accounts up to Trial Balance
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to cover finance and administrative duties
  • Self-sufficient with good working knowledge of software / accounting systems and Excel
  • Enthusiastic and keen to add value to the Finance department
