Management Accountant

Accountancy Action have partnered with a rapidly expanding Property development company in order to find them an impressive Management Accountant.

The company is going through a rapid growth period and are looking for someone to be part of that scale up. Currently a group of companies, they are looking to expand and want the right team to help them on that journey. They are operating across residential and commercial markets on exciting projects.

The successful applicant will be joining a small but experienced finance department and will be key part of the team

The role reports directly into the Financial Controller. Responsibilities of the role will include:

• Preparation of monthly management reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in implementation of new systems, controls and processes
• Run billing collection and oversee the debtors and AR function
• Work to strict deadlines
• Preparation of P & L and provide analysis.
• Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Accruals and prepayments
• Assist with completion of External audit
• Quarterly VAT reporting
• Monthly management pack reporting including KPI analysis
• Cashflow analysis

The ideal candidate will have budgeting and forecasting experience, good Excel skills and an analytical nature. Experience of stock and WIP would be beneficial. The ideal candidate will be part qualified ACCA/CIMA or a finalist.

The role is 5 days a week in the West End office.
