Our client, a premium sporting experiences company has grown from strength to strength and are now looking to recruit a newly create Finance Manager role.

The Finance Manager will assist the Finance Director, International in managing all aspects of the finance function and play a key role in establishing the business in new European countries. The role requires someone with the ability to run the day-to-day finance function in the UK, navigate the onboarding of new subsidiaries and projects, working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support cross-functional teams to onboard new clients, projects and events businesses
  • Play a pivotal role in system implementation & improvement for Legends International
  • Build solid working relationships with business and department leaders • Ensure a timely and accurate month end closing process
  • Analyse monthly balance sheet and P&L figures to prepare comments and expose performance trends
  • Develop and coordinate automated accounting applications and processes
  • Support the Finance Director during budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis workstreams
  • Ensure the business follows all statutory reporting and tax compliance processes, leveraging local professional services
  • Setup and manage outsourced professional services for new subsidiaries
  • Manage local banking relationships and cashflow
  • Perform adhoc duties as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance role
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office software required
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail essential
  • Must be highly analytical, have the ability to think creatively, and to understand complex business dynamics
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline oriented environment

Salary is between £60-65,000
