Transaction Services Manager
A leading commercial property company is looking to recruit a newly created Transaction Services Manager position to work in their well run Shared Service Centre in central London.
This is a high profile and key management role within the Accounts and Finance function with responsibility of circa 30 staff. The role will have overall responsibility for team delivery, staff motivation and team development. As this is a high profile role there will significant business partnering and manager multiple stakeholder relationships across the business from top to bottom.
The role works closely with and will support the various team leaders within the SSC to deliver robust solutions to the business that improve processes, ensure financial compliance, whilst working to achieve targets and deliverables as set by head of department
As the Transaction Services Manager the role will include but will not be limited to the following duties:
High level management of the Transaction Services teams; Accounts Payable, Credit Control, Cashiering & Billing
Developing and fostering engagement with direct reports and their teams to enhance motivation and delivery of outputs
Ensure that resources and skills of the team are appropriate for changing business needs
Assist in the implementation of systems, projects and improvements across the group representing Transaction Services as the SME
Continue to develop relationships between Transaction Services and other areas of the business to promote collaborative working resulting in the delivery of solutions that are beneficial to multiple areas.
It is absolutely essential that any applicant have significant experience of leading and developing large teams of at least 20 -25 staff. Any more would be most welcome. It is also imperative to have had experience within Shared Services environment and managed across both AP and AR/
In addition the candidate should have:
Demonstrable experience of implementing end to end process improvement projects with multiple stakeholders
Positive, forward thinking attitude with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels within the business
Self-motivated able to work to tight deadlines and deliver results as required
Ability to work as part of a team, utilising resources where available and proactively working alone where necessary
Ability to commute into central London
