Our client, a company offering various business solutions based in Swanley are looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant/Accounts Assistant to support their payroll and finance team. This is a full time position with around 3 days per month supporting the payroll team and 2 days per week assisting the finance team with accounts payable/accounts receivable duties.
What will you be doing;
Inputting, uploading and running of monthly payrolls accurately/on time for all group areas
Inputting of variables from multiple sites; holidays taken, mileage, sickness records and bonus payments
Dealing with all payroll queries and liaising with HMRC
Production of monthly payroll reports (starters, leavers, FTE headcount, all board reports & payroll analysis)
Posting payroll to accounts and reconciling head count to accounts
Reconciling PAYE payments with accounts
Collection of data from the time/attendance system
Dealing with pension contributions and submission of P11D, P60, P45 and P46 Car returns
Analysing /posting end of month journals from the final payroll reports and preparation of payroll balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting the wider accounts team with accounts payable and receivable duties (on average 2 days per week)
What are they looking for;
Must be able to commute to Swanley
Good Excel skills (V Lookups, Pivot Tables)
Experience in running stand alone payroll systems start to finish, with good knowledge of the PAYE system
Experience processing the payroll of around 500 staff
Good understanding of payroll legislation
SAP experience would be desirable but is not essential
Previous experience in a accounts payable, accounts receivable or accounts assistant role would be desirable
What are they offering;
25,000 per annum
9am 5pm working hours
