Reporting to: Accounts Manager
Responsible for: Assisting the Purchase Ledger Clerk with Financial Administration of the Purchase Ledger
This is a fantastic opportunity in an entry level role, where you can build on your previous experience, or be trained, within the accounts function of a successful, and busy, established Camden company.
Accounting experience is not essential but a high level of ability with numbers and clear written and spoken English are.
You will be matching suppliers delivery notes to invoices, identifying and correcting discrepancies with suppliers
Accurately entering suppliers invoices onto the companies accounting system
Opening new accounts with new suppliers as required
Dealing with supplier queries and taking the appropriate actions to resolve errors
Assisting with supplier statement reconciliation
Be responsible for well organised electronic records enabling quick retrieval
Assisting with the process ensuring that all invoices are identified for the month end
Learning the role of the Purchase Ledger Clerk to be able to deputise during absences
