HR/Cover Manager

Duties:
Answering and dealing with day to day enquiries (both internal and external) in a timely and efficient manner
Dealing with incoming email, post and other paperwork
Providing efficient administration for the recruitment and selection process, including application management, booking interviews, preparing shortlisting and interview packs, meeting and greeting candidates, carrying out tours and sending out the required letters
Providing efficient administration of paperwork for new employees including reference checks and verifications, Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, drafting contracts, compiling new starters employment packs
Assisting with new employee inductions including arranging induction programmes, taking photographs and requesting ID badges and computer access from the IT Department

Cover Duties:
To provide an efficient and well organised system for the administration of cover arrangements.
To provide efficient cover arrangements for any planned or known absence
Arranging supply cover with the preferred Agency suppliers as and when required
To notify/inform staff of daily cover arrangements (daily email circular) beyond the initial morning list circulated at approx.. 8am.
Co-ordinate cover work for cover personnel

General:
Assisting the Clerk to Governors with document printing/filing of minutes from time to time
Ensuring that established processes are followed in a consistent manner
Providing excellent (internal and external) customer service and building strong relationships
Ensuring confidentiality of all written and verbal communication
Maintaining good housekeeping, strictly adhering to all policies and procedures

The ideal candidate would have previous experience working in a HR environment and also previous use of HR/MIS Systems
