Our client, a business technology company based in the City, is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on a 12 month contract basis starting mid April.
The successful applicant will be offered a generous salary plus a completion bonus. You will be joining a tight knit friendly finance team and will have support of the Finance Director.
They are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and if you have used Sage 50 previously it would be a bonus. They will consider part qualified candidates or someone qualified by experience but ideally you will have worked in a small company environment before.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
Accounts Payable; processing invoices, expenses and petty cash
Accounts Receivable; raising sales invoices
Credit Control; chasing clients for overdue invoices
Cash allocation and bank reconciliation
